How to download videos, mp3, mp4 files embedded on websites

I’ve been ask a lot of times, How can they  download videos from Youtube and from other video sites so I look for  a software that I think is the most reliable software that they can use to be able to download flv videos, mp3 and other multimedia files.

As I’ve searched I found this program called Tubemaster. TubeMaster Plus is a freeware which you can use to download multimedia files (such as FLV, MP3, MP4 …)from *ALL* YouTube like websites and can save them on your computer. All multimedia files can be converted to other popular video or audio formats (AVI, MPEG, MP3, MP4, IPod, PSP …).
