A Military time or a 24 hour clock is a concise method of expressing time used by the military and other services such as paramedics, police and other entities. Airplanes, trains, bus also use military time because it makes time references accurate. The purpose of using a military time is to avoid confusion between a.m. and p.m. A 24 hour clock is widely use not only by the military but also on most countries. United States, Canada, and Philippines are only three of a few countries that still utilizes a 12-hour clock on a day-to-day basis.

Enable Windows 7 Military Time
- Open Control Panel
- Click on Clock, Language, and Region
- From Clock, Language, and Region screen, click on Change the date, time or number format.
- Change the settings as shown below:
