1

By Anthony on December 14th, 2008

digg-logoDigg.com is no doubt the biggest traffic source most webmasters will ever experience. Being on the front page of Digg can down a site in just less than an hour this is what we call the “Digg Effect”. To prepare for it is best to know if somebody has submitted one of your Articles to Digg.

Here is a simple tip to alert you whenever somebody has dugg your article.

Go to the Digg Search page http://digg.com/search

digg search

Select “URL Only” and “Upcoming Stories”. On the third drop down box select the sorting you prefer, I select “Sort by most Diggs”.

Hit the search button

Subscribe to the RSS feed for this search.

Now your RSS reader will alert you when one of your articles gets Dugg before it hits the front page.
