Top 3 Best Free Antivirus Software
Installing antivirus software is a must software to protect your computer. Although there are many antivirus software all over the web which provides different levels of security protection from viruses, trojans, malwares and spywares I only trust and recommend these three antivirus software for your computer’s protection. These 3 will provide you and your precious machine the security you need.
1. avast! Home Antivirus: This is my favorite antivirus. Avast is free for personal and non-commercial use. Avast is a free antivirus that provides a complete security against viruses. Avast has a built in anti-spyware, Anti-Rootkit, Web shield, Strong self protection, P2P and IM shield, Anti-Virus kernel, resident protection, Network shield, Automatic update, System integration, Windows 64 bit support, and Integrated Virus Cleaner.
2. Avira Anti-Vir Personal: Free version of Avira Anti-Vir AntiVirus for personal and non-commercial use. Antivir offers a very reliable protection to your computer. Their security protection includes protection from virus, worms and trojans, and also Anti-rootkit, Anti fishing and Anti dialer. They have auto incremental updates and provides real-time protection for your computer.
3. AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition: AVG is considered the most popular antivirus software. You can use AVG for personal and non-commercial use. The free edition of AVG provides basic antivirus protection. It includes antivirus, antispyware and has safe surf features.
If you don’t have a budget in purchasing paid software protection these three computer protectors are more than enough to keep your computer safe from any security threats.

The best antivirus is the Kaspersky one. It is very easy to use, and it gives amazing results. I have tired it myself and I really know what it can do. Moreover, it is very cheap, and has a great customer service
I agree with you…. kaspersky is one of the best along with nod32. however, most of the computer users don’t have or don’t want to spend some money buying software protection, this is were this three free anitvirus come in.
I used to use Nortan antivirus, but I found that it failed to deliver. After that, I downloaded avg free edition before six months, and I am quite happy with it. There is no single virus problem from last six months in my pc.
I agree with Joe, Norton does fail to deliver! It’s very common as a computer technician that I convince my clients to remove Norton and install what I use…Avira Antivir!
It’s never failed, picks up on viruses immediately and its free forever!
One of my friend suggested me to use Avast antivirus before a year, he told me that it was not one of the best but best free antivirus available in the market. At that time I didn’t have any information or knowledge about avast. After using it for a year, now I can say that it is the best.
Those 3 free antivirus are really the best. I’m using AVG for years now and it works wonders for me in terms of keeping my computer safe.
A virus needs to infect hosts in order to spread further. In some cases, it might be a bad idea to infect a host program. For example, many anti-virus programs perform an integrity check of their own code. Infecting such programs will therefore increase the likelihood that the virus is detected. For this reason, some viruses are programmed not to infect programs that are known to be part of anti-virus software. Another type of host that viruses sometimes avoid is bait files. Bait files (or goat files) are files that are specially created by anti-virus software, or by anti-virus professionals themselves, to be infected by a virus. These files can be created for various reasons, all of which are related to the detection of the virus.
good news for me, ithink i’m alredy change my antivirus for my nootbook immediatly.thanks for your info…

im using avg free. which one is better avast or avg free?
Does it make sense to install and run two antivirus (example avg and avast) in my pc? will it be just a waste of memory usage?
Yes you can do that but it will just eat more of your resources.
I have run Avira and AVG and like AVG very much. They are making it harder to find the free versions on their website, but download.com had the latest.

@sagar
your welcome
How are you?… how’s your template website doing?
Those 3 free antivirus are the best… I am currently using avast… it works wonders for me in terms of making my computing life safe
Avast is really one of the best virus protection you could ever use. I always recommend those 3 protectors on my friends and clients.
I like avast more… it doesn’t corrupt any files when it deletes a certain virus and I like avast’s boot-up scan. for me base on my experience I think avast is more powerful than avg.
